MY TEASE
It was as if the world had shifted, leaving Keleios behind. She stood were she had been and yet was far away. The air was close, heavy, and hard to breathe.
Tobin was bound. He stared around at the trees as if seeing them for the first time. He whispered, "It's like being blind."
Keleios' voice was the faintest of sounds, "Worse."
~ pg. 204 Nightseer by Laurell K. Hamilton
Are you feeling teased?

Definitely! Nice.
Hmm. Debut novel, doesn't that mean first ever? So is this an old book or first in a new series. Confusion.
Mine is at Lily's. :-)
Published in 1992 (And proclaimed the first in a series but never continued.)
Sounds interesting!
So it's an orphan novel?
Hm. I think I have this book somewhere. It looks familiar.
I'm reading this week, yay for me :) I'm reading Counterpoint by Rachel Haimowitz and it's totally awesome so far.
The prince cupped his chin in one hand and studied him as he might a stallion for breeding, his song belying his satisfaction long before he released Ayden's face. Then he pulled all the lacing and the sleeves from Ayden's shirt, leaving most of his chest exposed and his arms bared to the shoulders.
I don't have a page. I guess my page is 31% =)
hope you're having a good day m'dear.
Wow. That's good stuff! Great teaser!
@Chris - Yes, this novel is currently a stand alone but the possibility of more is there at the end.
@Amara - OH! I want to read this book. Thank you so much for the tease.
What could be worse than being blind?
I guess dead.

Wow. Great teaser. I've wondered about this book since I've read all of LKH's other books.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hmmm a stand alone novel by L.K. Hamilton. I might give it a try unless the heroine is just an earlier version of Anita Blake.
Nice teaser.
Oh. Oh. Oh, I think I need to look into this book some more. I love the cover and that teaser is wonderful! Thank you so much. I'm heading over to goodreads now to look into it. :)
Very interesting....I really like Laurell's Anita Blake series and the Meredith Gentry series but had not read this before....Thanks!

Thanks so much for delving into my head. It's scary in here sometimes, so it is nice to have company! Don't step on the zephyr...
