A SENTENCE
"His face was wedged against a long neck,
and, from the welcoming, familiar sensation,
he was lying between a woman’s silken thighs."

Yikes!
Is that the 56th page or just a random sentence?
My blog all week has been about Stephen J. Cannell and the 56 is no different!
Wow. Already? On page 56. The duke's night must be quite a long one... :-)
Here's mine (not nearly as exciting): http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2010/10/friday-56-rebecca.html
They didn't even shave back then so I'm not sure how "silken" they were. LOL
My first thought when I read long neck was longneck which means I've been reading too many m/m's set in Texas because I think that's what they call beer bottles there. LOL Waking up with your face pressed against a beer bottle? Not so hot and probably means you need an intervention.
HOT!

LOL at Tam's comment!
@Tam: Ha...make sense about the not shaving part. To give the author the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was the light's reflection on her thighs that makes it look smooth?
Haven't read this book yet, but seems hot.
This might totally be TMI but Im a blond and don't shave my inner thighs because they are already silky smooth. I think the excerpt is talking about me *wink*

Thanks so much for delving into my head. It's scary in here sometimes, so it is nice to have company! Don't step on the zephyr...
