MY TEASE
I found sanctuary in the dark and quiet, in the one place where I didn’t have to be strong, optimistic, happy, or anything else anyone thought I should be.
Where I couldn’t and didn’t have to pretend I didn’t know the truth.
My husband didn’t love me anymore, and I didn’t know how to make him.
