• I read this in one night. I just couldn't go to bed without knowing how it ended!
• BDSM is about trust and in this story you can see the trust build between Dom and sub. A very interesting introduction into the mental and physical paths to submission.
• The story very lightly touches on the trap of youth prostitution, a good balance to allow us to understand Mac's mental hurdles but not so much as to freeze our brains with the horrors possible within our own borders.
• Foster homes are not painted in the darkest light, but certainly not praised. An obvious difference between the treatment of blood relatives and foster children is a partial catalyst for this romance.
• Immensely intriguing to watch Alex excel in his role of the perfectly observant Dom, reading Mac's triggers and reactions to intimacy. Of course, this elevates him to a God/Dom position for the reader, creating an unachievable level of caring, understanding, patience, and strength. Perfect BDSM Romantic Fiction.
• A lot of the submission in this book is not something I could participate in personally (I would be flat out refusing or running away), but the descriptions of sensory deprivation and bondage allowed me to imagine what it might feel like.

Hmmm. I do sometimes find the perfect dom to be a bit tiresome. Yes, yes, you're perfect I get it. But seems like you enjoyed it and puppies and kittens are always a bonus.
