MY TEASE
Another wave of amusement slid subtly through her and she briefly closed her eyes to savor the maleness in it.
When she focused intently like that, she found that she could discern feelings that weren't hers. This was too cool.

Hmm. Is the book any good?
That would be a handy trait, as long as you could turn it off. :-) Some people I would so not want to be around.
Chris - I really enjoyed the book, though not as much as the first one in this series.
Tam - It only happens during certain circumstances, so yeah, she can kinda turn it off.
sounds interesting.

Here is my teaser from The Wolves of Andover by Kathleen Kent (Page 8):
Martha saw it all clear in that moment: this was the instant her place in the family would be decided. If she lost her footing at the outset, she would forever be dealt with as no more than a servant.
Hmmm. That would be cool.

I must say I have not heard or seen this cover before. But that teaser has me writing it down. Nice!
UnRead Brains is not only making our debut appearance for the teaser but on the blog-o-sphere.
Hope to see you soon! *evil grin*

Thanks so much for delving into my head. It's scary in here sometimes, so it is nice to have company! Don't step on the zephyr...
